Head Coach: Mitchell Feria
The game of volleyball runs deep in Feria’s genetics; both his father and older sister are former players and coaches. Feria’s coaching experience dates back to his high school days, when he served as an assistant coach for the Rangeview High School Lady Raiders in Aurora, CO. He has gained a broad perspective of the game from both inside and outside the lines, having competed as a member of Calvin’s volleyball team for three years as a libero and setter. After a spree of injuries forced Feria to decline an invitation from the U.S. National Team, he turned his attention exclusively to coaching (okay, not quite…). Feria is passionate about player development, and stresses positive team dynamics as the single most crucial requisite for on-court success. He is both honored and privileged to coach this year’s Knights, and believes a top-25 national ranking is well within the reach of the team this season.
